How accurate is the age calculator?
The Gregorian calculation is exact and accounts for leap years and varying month lengths. The Hijri calculation is also precise but may differ by one day from some sources — see the recommendation note above.
What's the difference between the Gregorian and Hijri calendars?
The Gregorian calendar is solar (~365.25 days/year), while the Hijri calendar is lunar (~354 days/year) — so your Hijri age grows faster than your Gregorian age over time.
Why is my Hijri age larger than my Gregorian age?
Because the Hijri year is about 11 days shorter than the Gregorian year, roughly one extra Hijri year accumulates every 33 Gregorian years.
Can I calculate my age on a future date?
Yes, enter the target date in the "Calculate age up to" field.
What are the fun-fact statistics based on?
On commonly cited general averages: 20,000 breaths/day, an 80 bpm heart rate, and 10 laughs/day on average. These are general estimates, not an actual personal measurement.
Is my birth date stored or shared?
No, the entire calculation happens in your browser only and nothing is sent to our servers. See the privacy policy for details.
What are the life milestones shown below?
Points at every 1000 days of your life (1000, 5000, 10000...) with their date in both calendars and your age at that point — already reached or still upcoming.
