About this date
Estimated time: sunrise + 15 minutes in the selected city, not an announced congregational time. The Eid date is also provisional until the official announcement.
Ministry of Islamic Affairs for official announcements ↗How is the remaining time calculated?
The difference between now and the start in the stated timezone, split into complete days, hours, minutes and seconds. On the occasion’s day it says “today”. During Ramadan it counts to the estimated end; Eid prayer timers use the estimated prayer time rather than midnight.
Does the date update automatically?
Recurring dates move forward after their day or period ends. Personal dates never repeat automatically. When a documented calendar runs out, we ask you to check or choose a date instead of guessing. With JavaScript disabled, reload to refresh the numbers.
