What the result means
Eid al-Adha prayer begins shortly after sunrise (usually 10 to 25 minutes later, depending on the mosque and overseeing authority), the same jurisprudential requirement as Eid al-Fitr. This calculator computes sunrise astronomically for the capital of each of Saudi Arabia's 13 regions, then adds an estimated 15-minute margin. Sunrise time differs by up to 45 minutes between the easternmost region (Eastern Province) and the westernmost (Tabuk) due to longitude, and also varies with the season (spring or summer) in which Eid falls that year.
Recommendation
Use this estimate for general planning (sacrifice arrangements, travel, Eid preparations), but rely on your mosque's or your region's official announcement for the precise time close to Eid. Remember the Eid date itself officially depends on the determination of the Day of Arafah, so check the official date announcement before finalizing your plans.
