Does this calculator give the final official amount?
No. This is an unofficial estimative tool that applies the calculation formula announced by the Ministry, but the final eligibility decision depends on additional official data (assets, commercial registration, residency status, and other conditions) only visible via the official Social Security electronic platform.
What's the difference between earned and unearned income?
Earned income results from actual work (a job salary, income from a business or freelance activity) and has 50% deducted from it during calculation. Unearned income includes other sources like rent or retirement pensions not resulting from direct work, and is counted in full without deduction.
Are Citizen's Account support or the university student stipend counted as income?
No, per the Ministry's guidance, other support programs (like Citizen's Account and Rural Support) and university student stipends aren't included in the counted income for this calculator.
How is my family's "minimum threshold" calculated?
1,320 SAR base for the head of household, plus 660 SAR for each registered dependent family member. This number represents the ceiling your counted income is compared against to determine the estimated pension.
Why is there no eligibility despite my relatively low income?
If the "counted income" (after deducting 50% of earned income) is still higher than the minimum threshold for your family size, no estimated eligibility will show, even if your actual total income is lower than that — because only part of the salary (half) is deducted in your favor by the formula.
