How do I know if I'm on the traditional or new system?
Via the 'Ta'meenaty' app or your GOSI portal account, where your system is shown clearly in your profile. General rule: if you had any prior GOSI or civil-pension subscription before 3 July 2024, you're on the traditional system.
Is the transport allowance included in the contributory wage?
The officially recognized base is basic salary + housing allowance. Some companies also include a fixed, recurring transport allowance in the contributory wage — check your actual payslip to see the exact contributory wage registered with GOSI.
Why isn't anything deducted from non-Saudi employees?
Because the pensions and SANED branches apply to Saudi nationals only. Non-Saudi employees are covered only under the occupational-hazards branch (workplace injuries), paid entirely by the employer at 2%, with no deduction from the employee's salary.
Does the 45,000 SAR cap mean my salary above that isn't counted at all?
It means the GOSI contribution (and therefore the future pension) is calculated on 45,000 SAR maximum only, even if your actual salary is higher. The excess isn't factored into the contribution or the future pension.
Does this calculator estimate my future retirement pension?
No, this calculator computes only the current monthly deduction. To estimate your future retirement pension based on your years of contribution, use the site's dedicated GOSI pension calculator.
